What are your shipping costs?All prices include shipping for NZ & Australia, please select your country. We are happy to provide a quote for postage to other countries, just send us an email stating the item you are interested in and the country you are from. We have had to place restrictions on the quantity of small items you can purchase on their own. This applies to customers who only want to purchase one lip balm or one food item, this does not apply to customers who are purchasing more than one item. In other words we have lowered our prices on these items to be fair to customers who wish to add a small item to an order but please do not try to purchase just one lip balm or one bag of lollies as we will lose money sending the item.

Are all your products vegan?
All of our footwear and accessories are vegan and made from man-made pleather (PU), hemp, cotton, jute or vinyl. Confectionery and other food items are also animal-free, using vegetable/fruit based substitutes for gelatin.

What materials are used in the footwear that you stock?
Man-made materials are used to construct most of the footwear that we stock. Other materials include canvas and hemp. PU or polyurethane is the most common man-made material used in the construction of vegetarian shoes as it imitates the practical qualities of leather. It is durable, water-resistant and easy to clean. PU is sometimes called Pleather or faux leather. Suedette is faux suede and is made from cloth. It is a lightweight, soft material that is harder to keep clean and is not water-resistant; it can be elasticized to create a stretch suedette. Microfibre is made from polyurethane and polyester and like canvas it is a comfortable, breathable material. Hemp fibre has a harder, uneven texture and is extremely durable. We assure that there is no leather in the footwear that we stock. This includes the inside and upper region of the shoe where there is commonly a mix of leather and man-made materials in some brand’s of shoes.

What sizing is used?
The Vegetarian Shoes brand uses UK or Euro sizing and each style is different so please read descriptions carefully. The Bump and Para styles run 1 full size big, possibly 1.5 even. Most New Zealanders find US sizes narrow so keep this in mind when ordering any clearance Ragazzi shoes. Length is only one factor in the fit of a shoe; the width, the shape and the material it is made out of need to be taken into consideration. Please remember we offer a guide to the fit of a shoe and have no responsibility or way of knowing if a shoe will fit you. We offer exchanges, not returns so please read the Returns Policy before you purchase.

Do you ship internationally?
This site is currently set up to cater for NZ and Australian customers but feel free to use our Contact Us page to tell us what your interested in and we can find out what the shipping costs are and if you wish to go ahead and order we can arrange payment through Paypal. Deviate is not responsible for any customs duty that may occur. Please remember that our sizing recommendations tend to differ (NZ feet are wider so we usually go up one US size), however wallets and bags are an easy item to purchase internationally. All shipping is free in NZ and we have preset shipping costs for Australian customers determined by cost for convenience and if postage rates change or we find this not to work, we will alter rates or find a better method.

What shipping methods do you use?
We use NZ post and PBT couriers within NZ and a signature may be required so we recommend a physical address where someone will be present to sign. Rural purchases may be sent by NZ Post and all Australian purchases are sent by international air mail. The time frame is usually 1-2 days for NI orders and 2-3 for SI depending upon whether the courier driver has trouble locating a person for signature. Most items will be sent by NZ post from March onwards.

What form of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards or internet banking. Deviate Footwear and Accessories uses the PayPal secure online payment gateway for all credit transactions. Alternatively, if you do not have a credit card you can pay via internet banking. The Account Number is: L. Smith-Deviate NZ, 06-0169-0155665-00 The National Bank. PayPal users: you do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment through PayPal, only a credit card. PayPal is one of the oldest and safest methods of payment online. Please note that we restock items after two days if payment by direct credit has not been received.
