Deviate helped move EECA from their old Drupal CMS onto Silverstripe CMS and ultimately onto the Silverstripe Cloud for Public Sector PaaS.

Like many government websites, Azure AD / Entra ID is integrated into the website platform for authentication.

Salesforce is used by EECA for various back end processes and the website integrates with Salesforce acting as a flexible interface to support the background workflow and data.

EECA has a long history of building custom tools to help with their messaging on efficient energy usage. Deviate has built many of these over the years in both Angular and React, including the likes of Warmer Kiwi Homes, Solar Home calculator, Vehicle Total Cost of Ownership for business and consumer, Home Energy Efficiency Calculator, and many more.

To assist with efficient and timely movement of data and to keep business logic and data from the website front end, Deviate also developed numerous custom APIs to help get data to and from their Data Warehouse.

Forthcoming work will include Databricks integration, Natural Language (LLM) Vector / Token hybrid search using Elasticsearch, and upgrades to Silverstripe CMS.
