Deviate has had a relationship with MBIE since 2018 when the NZBN website was first conceived.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has been one of the largest users of Silverstripe CMS and Silverstripe's cloud PaaS.

The NZBN website played an important role in raising awareness of what NZBN is and how it helps businesses, and Deviate has been involved from the start. In addition, we built the MyNZBN secure area that allows people to manage their watchlists, update their business or entity details, and manage information held by MBIE and Companies Office.

We have seen it move through two CMS upgrades, a platform shift, and a soon-to-be migration from Apache Solr to Elasticsearch.
