Radio Spectrum Management
Radio Spectrum Management (RSM) is looked after by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and is responsible for efficiently and effectively managing the radio spectrum in New Zealand.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) has been one of the largest users of Silverstripe CMS and Silverstripe's cloud PaaS.
We have seen it move through two CMS upgrades, a platform shift, and a soon-to-be migration from Apache Solr to Elasticsearch.
A key feature of the RSM website is their fully editable decision tree used to help people understand what they need to do with regards licensing of devices. MBIE can edit questions, options, information, attachments, next questions and final outcomes.
The presentation is simple, but it gives MBIE the control they need to amend and maintain licensing requirements as time goes on and policies evolve.
